PURA Gene Review Published in "Frontiers in Genetics"

The PURA Syndrome Foundation, in collaboration with the Global Research Network, is happy to share a new review of the PURA gene, "The Molecular Function of PURA and Its Implications in Neurological Diseases", which was published today, March 11, 2021, in Frontiers in Genetics. Frontiers in Genetics publishes rigorously peer-reviewed research on genes and genomes relating to all domains of life. The PURA Syndrome Foundation wishes to thank the authors of this paper, Lena Moliter, Sabrina Bacher, and Dierk Niessing from the Institute of Structural Biology, Helmholtz Zentrum München – German Research Center for Environmental Health in Neuherberg, Germany, as well as Sandra Burczyk of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Ulm University in Ulm, Germany for their hard work and dedication to PURA research.
